Ben supports the Water Resources Group at Landau Associates with his expertise in water rights permitting, groundwater modeling, and supply well design and rehabilitation. Ben also performs and coordinates a wide range of hydrogeologic assessments and aquifer testing studies in support of permitting and remediation projects. He has assisted with water rights projects, including new applications and change applications, across the state of Washington. He has implemented a variety of aquifer and well performance tests and is proficient in assessing possible interference with other nearby wells and in estimating hydrogeologic parameters using state of the practice software. Ben stays current on water resources issues in Washington state by attending policy committee meetings, including those for Washington State Department of Ecology’s (Ecology) Columbia River Policy Advisory Group, Agriculture and Water Quality Advisory Committee, and Water Resources Advisory Committee.
