The Deschutes River Conservancy works with willing landowners to purchase water rights for mitigation, water bank and instream uses, and assists with permanent water conservation projects that result in better water management and improved streamflows. The DRC has a long history of partnering with irrigation districts and patrons (with district approval), non-irrigation district water right holders and those who have groundwater rights.
