Columbia River Surface Water for Lease

Okanogan-Tonasket Irrigation District (OTID) currently has approximately 7,500 acre-feet of water rights available for lease from April 1 to October 15, with the ability to re-time to year-round. The Columbia River surface water is available for irrigation and other beneficial uses in Washington. Options exist for tailored terms and conditions that will suit a Lessee’s needs.

Water is available for use by Similkameen River (below Nighthawk) and mainstem Okanogan and Columbia River surface water users in Washington. Lower reaches of Okanogan River tributaries and groundwater users may also qualify, pending evaluation.
